Remove a Saved Payment Method

You can remove a saved payment method from your Myaccountant account if it is no longer needed or if you have added a replacement card.

Steps to Remove a Payment Method

  1. Log in to your Myaccountant account.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Billing (or Settings > Subscription).
  3. Locate the payment method you want to remove.
  4. Click the Remove button (or trash icon) next to the card.
  5. Confirm the removal when prompted.
caution

You cannot remove your only active payment method if you have an active paid subscription. Add a new payment method first, then remove the old one. See Add a Payment Method.

When to Remove a Payment Method

  • Your card has expired and you have added a new one.
  • You want to switch to a different card.
  • You have cancelled your subscription and no longer need a card on file.
