Remove a Saved Payment Method
You can remove a saved payment method from your Myaccountant account if it is no longer needed or if you have added a replacement card.
Steps to Remove a Payment Method
- Log in to your Myaccountant account.
- Navigate to Settings > Billing (or Settings > Subscription).
- Locate the payment method you want to remove.
- Click the Remove button (or trash icon) next to the card.
- Confirm the removal when prompted.
caution
You cannot remove your only active payment method if you have an active paid subscription. Add a new payment method first, then remove the old one. See Add a Payment Method.
When to Remove a Payment Method
- Your card has expired and you have added a new one.
- You want to switch to a different card.
- You have cancelled your subscription and no longer need a card on file.
