Employee Login

This guide is for employees who have been invited to access the MyAccountant self-service portal. It covers how to set up your account for the first time and how to log in on subsequent visits.

First-Time Login

When your employer enables portal access for you, you will receive an invitation email.

  1. Open the invitation email from MyAccountant.
  2. Click the Set Up Your Account link.
  3. Create a password that meets the following requirements:
    • At least 8 characters
    • Contains at least one uppercase letter
    • Contains at least one number
    • Contains at least one special character
  4. Confirm your password and click Save.
  5. You will be redirected to the login page.

Logging In

  1. Go to the MyAccountant login page.
  2. Select Employee as the account type.
  3. Enter your email address and password.
  4. Click Log In.

Verification Code

For security, you may be asked to verify your identity:

  1. A verification code will be sent to your registered email address.
  2. Enter the code on the verification screen.
  3. Click Verify to complete the login.

Forgot Your Password?

If you have forgotten your password:

  1. Go to the login page and click Forgot Password.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Check your email for a password reset link.
  4. Click the link and create a new password.
  5. Return to the login page and log in with your new password.

Troubleshooting

I did not receive the invitation email

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Ask your employer to resend the invitation from your employee profile.
  • Make sure the email address on your employee profile is correct.

My account is locked

After multiple unsuccessful login attempts, your account may be temporarily locked. Wait 15 minutes and try again, or contact your employer to have your access reset.

I cannot see the Employee login option

Make sure you are on the correct login page. The Employee portal is separate from the employer login. Check the invitation email for the correct URL.

Important Notes

  • Your login email is the same email address your employer has on file for you. If it changes, ask your employer to update it.
  • Do not share your login credentials with anyone.
  • You can change your password at any time from within the portal under Settings > Change Password.
