Employee Self-Service Portal

The employee self-service portal allows your employees to log in and manage their own information without needing to contact you. They can view payslips, update personal details and check their leave balances.

  1. Go to Payroll > Employees and click on the employee's name.
  2. Select the Access tab.
  3. Toggle Portal Access to on.
  4. Confirm or enter the employee's email address — this will be their login username.
  5. Click Send Invite.

The employee will receive an email with a link to set their password and access the portal.

This information is broken down by leave type (annual leave, personal/carer's leave, etc.).

Important Notes

  • Employees log in through a separate portal — they do not access your full MyAccountant account.
  • Any changes employees make to their bank details are logged in the audit history for your review.
  • Portal access can be enabled or revoked at any time.
  • Terminated employees automatically lose portal access, but you can re-enable it if they need to access historical payslips.
